Well, I just tried to set the house on fire- I was impatient for my toast to be done, so I tilted the toaster over to see how done it was, lost my grip, and the thing hit the counter, and all of the loose crumbs at the bottom (about 4 months worth) burst into flames- it was impressive. Luckily, nothing else caught on fire or melted.
I kind of have a history of doing this- I set a pretty big grease fire on accident, trying to light a tick on fire- I had heard that was one way to kill them, or at least it makes them pop really loud. That time I remembered a split second before tossing a whole glass of water on it that water and grease fires don't mix, and smothered it with a pot lid instead. Seems I haven't learned my lesson!
