"It's alive!!!"

Yes, I am still among the living- maybe not the actual living, but more like the living dead- I'm pretty sure that's what most law school students are.

And law school (and my own laziness, to be honest), is mostly responsible for my lack of posts. There just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything- well, if you cut out sleep, eating, and exercise, there is. Sleep is what's been cut the most, and conseuqently I've spent almost the entire weekend sleeping. I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of my bed, as every time I even look at it, my lids get all heavy.

School has been, well, school. The usual readings, briefings, papers, all of that. I haven't been subjected to Stiglitz again, but I am sure I will be soon- he's been playing over on my side of the room, so it's only a matter of time before he jumps the aisle and gets to me.

Things on the home front have been marginally more exciting. About a week and a half ago I ordered a recurve bow- no more rentals for me!! It should get here sometime this week, with the case shortly to follow. I'll be drawing either 22 or 24 pounds, depending on what feels best. I think that walking Frankie has really helped me improve on my poundage; the walks are really nothing more than thirty minutes of resistance training with a 70+ pound weight! Though she is getting better at heeling

Two weekends ago was the air show, so that Friday the whole family (minus the cousin who never leaves, who happened to be staying that weekend), went to the O-Club on base. It was fun! I hadn't gotten dressed up and gone out in ages. Met a lot of my father's old work colleagues, and also some younger pilots as well. Actually, my sister and I spent most of the evening talking to two members of the Golden Knights, which is a parachute demonstration team for the Army (we forgave them for that, though not without some mild ripping). And afterwards was the now traditional In-N-Out run (those are good burgers, Walter- sorry, automatic reflex)- I had forgotten how much I loved fast-food french fries...hmmmm.....

Have also seen several movies "Burn After Reading," and "Appaloosa," both enjoyable. "Burn After Reading" is my definite recommendation though- it's classic Coen Brothers, and although I've never been a fan of Brad Pitt, I loved him in this role.

Well, my case has finished printing off of Lexis (don't tell my Legal Skills professor- we're only supposed to be using books as sources- how archaic- and unenforceable- is that!), so I had better get back to it.
